Welcome to the Positive Proof Women Health Care Empowerment Initiative (POPWHEI).
As the Executive Director, my mission is to lead an organization that does more than just provide services—we cultivate leaders. At POPWHEI, we believe that true empowerment is rooted in visionary leadership, and we provide the positive proof that when you equip a woman, a girl, or a youth with the right tools, they become the architects of their own destiny.

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR):
We are committed to ensuring that every woman and girl has the right to make informed choices about her body and her life. Our programs focus on providing accurate information, clinical referrals, and the advocacy needed to protect reproductive freedoms and bodily autonomy.
Visionary Leadership & Capacity Building:
We don’t just manage projects; we mentor change-makers. By strengthening the leadership skills of our staff and community members, we ensure our impact is sustainable and community-led.
Health Advocacy & Support Groups:
We are fierce advocates for equitable healthcare. Beyond policy, we facilitate dedicated support groups for women, providing a safe space for healing, shared experience, and collective strength.
Economic Empowerment:
We believe financial independence is a fundamental right. Our programs equip women and youth with the skills and resources needed to build sustainable livelihoods and break the cycle of poverty.
Gender, Human Rights & Education:
We stand at the forefront of the fight for equality. By championing human rights and promoting inclusive education, we ensure that girls and youth have the knowledge and legal footing to claim their place in society.
Youth Empowerment:
Our youth are the engine of progress. We provide mentorship and leadership training to help young people navigate challenges and seize opportunities in a rapidly changing world.
The Power of Presence: Awareness & Sensitization
Change begins with a shift in mindset. POPWHEI is deeply rooted in our neighborhoods, conducting consistent community awareness and sensitization campaigns. We lead from the front—breaking taboos around sexual health, challenging harmful gender norms, and bringing vital information directly to those who need it most.
Strength Through Stakeholder Involvement
Effective leadership is collaborative. Our success is built on a foundation of strategic stakeholder involvement. By engaging with government ministries, educational districts, health providers, and private partners, we create a unified front to tackle complex social issues. This collaborative spirit ensures our interventions are not only impactful but are woven into the very fabric of our society.
